METAROM's Human Resources policy involves three key points:
FAIR EMPLOYMENT METAROM has made a commitment to FACE Grand Amiens (Fondation Agir Contre l’Exclusion [Fight Against Exclusion Foundation]) by signing the Diversity Charter and setting up a plan of action. The objective is to fight against discrimination at all levels. Several initiatives have already been carried out, including an information meeting with the entire staff on the definition of discrimination, the implementation of a recruitment procedure to keep track of responses and guarantee fair treatment of the applications received. On a daily basis, we look to create a fair working atmosphere while taking into consideration, above all else, the skills of each of our employees. EVOLUTION Since 2004, METAROM has dedicated more than 3.5% of its Wage Bill to training. We feel it is essential to help all our employees maintain or expand their abilities. It is through the continuous training of our employees that we can develop our company, offer innovative products to our customers and continuously improve our competence. Each employee has individual objectives which allow them to progress, and evaluation interviews are carried out every year in order to provide them with an assessment of the past year and set objectives for the year to come. RECOGNITION METAROM favours in-house promotions. During recruitment, any positions to be filled are systematically offered in-house. What better way to recognise someone’s work than to offer them an in-house promotion? We have come up with salary scales for our production staff in order to guarantee each employee an individual salary progression based on skills which actually come into play on a daily basis. Through profit-sharing, employees will gain from the company’s results and share the success achieved by all employees. |
